Marianne Mills

Marianne Mills is the owner and founder of Mills Music Studios.  She began her piano studies at the age of eight with Paula Pierpoint for 10 years. She continued her education at Hobe Sound Bible College under the instruction of Dr. Randall McElwain. 

Formal Education

She graduated in May of 2011 from the college with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education with an emphasis in piano. She’s been an independent piano teacher for seven years.

Mrs. Mills is currently enrolled in the Masters of Music program at University of Nebraska at Kearney.   

Professional Performances

Mrs. Mills has performed in piano concerts and competitions since childhood including State and National competitions for piano solos and  duos. She has also performed and participated in the National Federation Festivals, the TCMTA Music-Thons and various private recitals. 

Teaching Career

After working as the music, piano and drama instructor at the Palm City Elementary Extended Day program, she joined the Stuart School of Music as a piano teacher in the spring of 2013 and taught until March 2016. She has since established her own studio where she teaches close to 50 students. 

Music Associations

In 2013, she assumed the position of Secretary of Treasure Coast Music Teachers Association and held the board position until 2015. Mrs. Mills is the FFMC Festival Chairman of Lake District- Martin County Area. She also holds membership in Music Teachers National Association, Florida State Music Teachers Association, and Treasure Coast Music Teachers Association as well as National Federation of Music Clubs and Florida Federation of Music Clubs. 


Towards the end of her music studies, she married and is now living with her husband and son in Hobe Sound, Florida.
